Reggetts . <br /> On roll call , the following Government Affairs Program students were <br /> noted present : Peggy Boicelli , Janice McPheters , William Miller , <br /> Jeanette Phillips , Michael Rice , and David Sanchez , Noted absent <br /> were Bonnie Deto and Emma Wood . <br /> Councilman Weymouth moved to approve as submitted , Minutes of Regular <br /> Meeting of February 26 , 1973 and Minutes of Executive Session of <br /> February 26 , 1973 , seconded by Councilman Rhodes and carried . <br /> Loyalty Oath was administered by City Clerk to newly appointed Police <br /> Reserve Officers as follows : David L . Barsocchini , Patrick Cassidy , <br /> Donald Kundo , Edward Lopez , Lynn Rosa , and Richard Welch . Mayor <br /> Keckley noted that these Officers had completed one hundred hours of <br /> special training , and that they serve with the regular Patrolman , <br /> without compensation . He expressed gratitude to these men for having <br /> volunteered to serve the community as back -up for the Police Department . <br /> COMMUNITY PROGRESS REPORT , City Manager provided a verbal summary of <br /> his written report to Council . Community Development : Six dwelling <br /> units built by American Housing Guild remain to be finaled , and this <br /> would complete presently proposed housing in Redwood Shores . Building <br /> permits for five more units would attain the maximum of 150 authorized <br /> by Council in November 1971 , with respect to existing water and sewage <br /> treatment facilities . City Manager indicated that with acquisition of <br /> Redwood Shores by Mobil Oil Estates , efforts to get under way with the <br /> necessary facilities and further construction will resumes Significant <br /> new construction consisted on one commercial building valued at $238 , 560 , <br /> at 3698 Hoover Street . City staff had recently received draft copy <br /> of the Emerald Lakes/Redwood City Hillside General Plan Study , as <br /> prepared by the City/County Steering Committee , chaired by Councilman <br /> Rhodes . It was expected that Committee Consultant Sam Halstead would <br /> make formal submittal to Board of Supervisors and Council in about <br /> a week , following which the plan would be referred to the respective <br /> Planning Commissions for study and public hearings . Prior to public <br /> hearings , the plan would be published as a supplement in the Redwood <br /> -- City Tribune , and in addition , the supplement would be distributed <br /> to all non- subscribers in the study area , as well as absentee land <br /> 3 /12/73 <br /> Reg , Mtg . <br />
