4i3 .:.2 9 <br /> Attorney advised that a new resolution of intention was required in <br /> order to conform to provisions of the Streets and Highways Code . <br /> Councilman Williams moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO . 6883 OF INTENTION TO <br /> ABANDON PORTION OF PUBLIC STREET IN ACCORDANCE WITH PART 3 OF DIVISION 9 , <br /> STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA; PROVIDING FOR THE <br /> RESERVATION OF CERTAIN EASEMENTS THEREFROM; SETTING TIME AND PLACE FOR <br /> HEARING ALL PERSONS INTERESTED IN OR OBJECTING TO THE PROPOSED VACATION; <br /> ORDERING POSTING OF NOTICE OF SUCH PROPOSED VACATION ; AND , REPEALING <br /> RESOLUTION NO . 6880 , ( sets public hearing for April 23 , 1973 ) , seconded <br /> by Councilman Rhodes and carried on roll call vote . <br /> Equipment Specifications . <br /> Councilman Weymouth moved to adopt the following resolutions , seconded by <br /> Councilman Henderson : <br /> RESOLUTION NO . 6884 APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE FURNISHING OF FOUR <br /> TRUCKS ; AND, AUTHORIZING CITY CLERK TO CALL FOR BIDS THEREFOR ; <br /> RESOLUTION NO . 6885 APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE FURNISHING OF TWO <br /> TRAILER MOUNTED AIR COMPRESSORS ; AND , AUTHORIZING CITY CLERK TO CALL FOR <br /> BIDS THEREFOR ; and <br /> RESOLUTION NO . 6886 APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE FURNISHING OF ONE <br /> TANDEM ROLLER ; AND AUTHORIZING CITY CLERK TO CALL FOR BIDS THEREFOR . <br /> Staff report indicated that approval of specifications for three re- <br /> placement 2-Ton Dump Trucks was being requested, one for Park Department , <br /> and two for the Street Department , as age , mileage and condition justified <br /> replacement . A fourth Dump Truck was recommended as an addition for the <br /> Sanitary Sewer Maintenance Program . Funds were provided in the current <br /> Budget . <br /> Approval of two 150 CFM Air Compressors as replacements in the Street <br /> Division and Water Division was also requested , and funds were budgeted . <br /> A 3 to 5-Ton Tandem Roller was requested as replacement of unit 19 years <br /> old , for which repair parts were no longer available , and which would be <br /> traded in . Funds were provided in the current budget . <br /> Council was assured that specifications called for these items to be <br /> white in color . Motion carried on roll call vote . <br /> Amendments to State Vehicle Code re " speed traps " , and Farm Hill Boulevard - <br /> Jefferson Avenue Traffic Engineering Study .
