Task 6 Circulate Mitigated Negative Declaration <br />The City will reproduce adequate copies of the Mitigated Negative Declaration <br />and mail "notices of availability" to all required agencies, groups and <br />interested individuals, as required by CEQA and the City of Redwood City. <br />LCP Associates will assist in the preparation of the notice if requested. <br /> <br />Task 7 Hold Public Hearing(s) by the City of Redwood City <br />After the CEQA required 20 day public review period, the City will hold (at <br />least) one officially noticed public hearing to allow any and all persons to raise <br />questions or make comments on the proposed project and the Mitigated <br />Negative Declaration including the recommended mitigation measures. LCP <br />Associates will attend the public hearings to present the Mitigated Negative <br />Declaration and verbally respond to questions and comments. After all <br />written and verbal comments have been made, the Planning Commission <br />shall close the public hearing. <br /> <br />Task 8 Respond to Comments and Preparation of the Final Mitigated <br /> Negative Declaration; and Hold Public Meetings by the City of <br /> Redwood City <br />LCP Associates will prepare written responses to all comments and questions <br />raised during the public review period and at the public hearing(s). These <br />"Response to Comments," together with all previously prepared environ- <br />mental documents, i.e. Initial Study and Mitigated Negative Declaration, will <br />comprise the Final Mitigated Negative Declaration. The Planning <br />Commission (or City Council on appeal) should take action at this meeting <br />on the Final Mitigated Negative Declaration, and then may take action on the <br />proposed project itself. <br /> <br />Task9 Prepare and File "NOD" (Notice of Determination) <br />As soon as possible after the Planning Commission has taken action on the <br />Final Mitigated Negative Declaration, LCP Associates will assist if requested <br />in the preparation of the "NOD" (Notice of Determination) for the City to file <br />with the County, in order to begin the CEQA required 30 day "challenge <br />period." <br /> <br /> <br />
