Councilman Weymouth moved to approve CONSENT CALENDAR , Items (a) through ( c ) , <br /> seconded by Vice -Mayor Henderson and carried . <br /> COMMUNICATIONS : <br /> ( a ) Written - copies submitted to Council : <br /> 1 . San Mateo County Board of Supervisors request for a joint meeting <br /> of Board and City Councils to review the proposed amendments to <br /> Regulation Two of the Bay Area Air Pollution Control District , <br /> Thursday , May 11 , 1972 , 7 : 30 P . M . , Garden Room , Hall of Flowers , <br /> County Fairgrounds , <br /> Vice -Mayor Henderson advised she did not recall seeing the proposed <br /> amendments to Regulation Two , and asked that copies be provided to <br /> Council . City Manager indicated the proposed amendments had been <br /> changed once , and would get the latest version to Council . <br /> 2 . Notification of City of San Mateo ' s action in opposition to Proposed <br /> Amendment to Regulation Two , Air Pollution Control District . <br /> 3 . County of San Mateo , Department of Public Health and Welfare : Two <br /> communications signed by members of Staff Region IV concerning <br /> problems in East Palo Alto and East Menlo Park . <br /> 4 . Doris L . Davidson , 1551 Fernside , copy of communication which was <br /> written to Tribune ' s Action Line relating to Society for Prevention <br /> of Cruelty to Animals ( S . P . C . A . ) . <br /> Vice -Mayor Henderson commented she had been provided a copy of <br /> S . P . C . A . response to Miss Davidson , to the effect that except for <br /> emergencies , if a call is received late in the day , they often defer <br /> until the next day . She felt that leaving a dead animal in the <br /> street overnight was questionable , and indicated copies of the <br /> response would be provided to Council . <br /> Councilman Norris moved to accept COMMUNICATIONS and authorize implementation as <br /> directed , seconded by Councilman Leipzig and carried . <br /> (b ) Oral <br /> 1 , Mr . James Miller , 3015 Bayshore , invitation to Council to meet <br /> Chapter 7 of mobile homes group on May 23rd , 7 : 30 P .
