56 ( f) Councilman Henderson requested to attend San Mateo County Convention & Visitors Bureau sales and Orientation meeting with the Northern California Society of Association Executives , Sacramento , June 14 , 1972 . (Memo 6/6/72 ) ( g ) Councilman Henderson reaffirmed the scheduled date of appointments to fill vacancies on Commission and Boards , and that Council also formally acknowledge appointments made by the Mayor to the various Committees of other agencies in order that they might be notified of any new appointments or replacements . Councilman Norris moved to approve CONSENT CALENDAR , items (a ) through ( g) , seconded by Councilman Williams and carried on roll call vote . COMMUNICATIONS : ( a ) Written - copies submitted to Council . ( 1 ) League of California Cities , Peninsula Division , Alta Mira Hotel , Sausalito , June 15th , 6 :45 P . M . , Ferry Bldg . , San Fran- cisco (Pier 1 foot of Market St . ) (Reservations to be made by June 7th . ) (2 ) Breakthrough Housing Conference , Sacramento , June 8th . (Reservation forms submitted to Council by City Manager ) It was noted no Oral Communication Cards were submitted . Councilman Leipzig commented on work being done with new piping through the Hetch Hetchy right of way from one end of the City to the other and quest- ioned whether this might be the right timing for consideration to be given to its hoped for use for trails , walkways , since citizens often expressed concern . City Manager advised there was to be some considera- tion given for suggestions on formulating a program and planning in the capital improvement program , He also reported he was in process of requesting that San Francisco withhold reissuance of any revocable permits for its use until such time as a program could be investigated and studied , as he has no idea at present as to any estimated costs involved and also other jurisdictions affected in addition to the owner , San Francisco Water Department . It was suggested further details be given in the community progress report concerning this pipeline work in order that some publicity might be given the community . Councilman Henderson moved to adjourn to Executive Session at 8 :20 P , M , for a discussion of current litigation , seconded by Councilman Norris and carried .
