<br /> Redwood City Council
<br /> June 12 , 1972 7 : 30 P . M .
<br /> Plege of Allegiance led by Mr . Sam Samansky , Scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop 67 ,
<br /> Invocation led by Reverend Edwin Halcrow , First Baptist Church . Mayor Keckley
<br /> noted that it had been publicized that Reverend and Mrs . Halcrow were
<br /> celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary this date and on behalf of the
<br /> Council extended sincerest congratulations .
<br /> Mayor Keckley then welcomed on behalf. of Council and City Staff all the
<br /> scouting groups invited to be present in order that the Council might
<br /> extend their personal appreciation to each of the troops represented for
<br /> their outstanding community service rendered not only in their own efforts
<br /> but participation by their whole families in the annual cleanup of Union
<br /> Cemetery in preparation for the Memorial Day Services . The following
<br /> troops were presented with Certificates of Distinguished Service :

<br /> Councilman Weymouth moved to approve Minutes of Regular Meeting of June 5 , 1972 ,
<br /> and Minutes of Executive Session of June 5 , 1972 , as submitted , seconded by
<br /> Councilman Henderson and carried ,
<br /> Mayor Keckley announced that Item 7 listed on Agenda for this meeting relating
<br /> to the report and recommendation of. the Marina Committee regarding fees
<br /> and charges for use of various Municipal Marina facilities , and amending
<br /> rules and regulations regarding usage , had been withdrawn and those
<br /> interested would be notified when it was to be main listed for Council ' s
<br /> consideration .
