86 <br /> Councilman Williams moved to approve , as submitted , Minutes of Adjourned <br /> Regular Meeting of June 17 , 1972 , and Minutes of Regular Meeting of <br /> June 10, 1972 , seconded by Councilman Weymouth and carried . <br /> Mayor KKeckley announced that present were four newly graduated Police <br /> Reserve Officers to be sworn in , who had completed 100 hours in <br /> regular police school and were to be commended for their voluntary <br /> service to augment the Regular Police force , The officers were <br /> then administered the Oath of Office by the City Clerk , as follows : <br /> Howard Wright , Verne Cady , Ronald Spathelf , William Osborn , <br /> PUBLIC HEARING , Resolution of Intention by Planning Commission Initiating <br /> Proceedings to amend Ordinance No , 1130 , the Zoning Ordinance , <br /> relating to "Pr` and "A " Combining Districts and Architectural Permits , <br /> declared open , and affidavit of publication ordered filed . <br /> Councilman Williams indicated that in the summary from staff and <br /> Planning Commission it appeared that the intent was to eliminate <br /> "P " and "fit " Combinincr Districts as no longer necessary , since <br /> anything from R -3 on up requires an Architectural Permit , but <br /> questioned whether it was the intention to apply architectural control <br /> to single - family and two- family homes . <br /> Mayor Keckley noted this was not the intent , and invited comment from <br /> Planning Director , Planning Director advised for clarification that <br /> Section 45 . 3 of the Ordinance which follows the amended Section 45 . 2 <br /> was not proposed to be changed , and provides that single - and two - <br /> family dwellings are exempted from architectural controls . Following <br /> brief additional discussion , Councilman Williams moved that the <br /> proposed Ordinance be clarified by incorporation of provisions to <br /> except R - 1 and R -2 from requirement for Architectural. Permit in <br /> Section 45 . 2 of the Zoning; Ordinance , seconded by Councilman Rhodes <br /> and carried . (MINUTE ORDER #72 -128 ) <br /> Councilman Weymouth moved to close the public hearing, seconded by <br /> Councilman Henderson and carried . <br /> Councilman Weymouth moved to introduce Ordinance amending Section 45 . 2 of , <br /> and repealing Sections 23 . 4 and 23 . 7 of , Ordinance No . 1130 , the <br /> Zoning Ordinance of the City of Redwood City, relating to Combining <br /> Districts , seconded by Councilman Henderson and carried . <br /> Councilman Henderson moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO , 6746 TRANSFDrRING <br /> $3 , 000 FROM APPROPRIATION FOR PAYMENT OF SALARIES TO APPROPRIATION <br /> ,7OR PURCHASE OF SUPPLIES AND OTHE R SERVICES , DEPARTMENT OF CITY <br /> 6-26-72 <br /> Reg . Mtg . <br />
