(MINUTE <br /> ORDER #72 -129) <br /> Dumbarton Fire Protection District - Agreement with the County of San Mateo . <br /> Councilman Weymouth moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO , 6748 APPROVING AND <br /> AUTHORIZING AGE WMENT BETWEEN COUNTY OF SAN MATEO AND CITY OF n IDWOOD <br /> CITY FOR SUBCONTRACTING OF FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT SERVICES , seconded <br /> by Councilman Henderson , <br /> Staff report indicated provision was being made for contractual <br /> arrangement between Redwood City Fire Department and the County , and <br /> in turn, between the County and City for furnishing of fire protection <br /> services in the area of the District . City Manager reported that he <br /> had been informed that the Dumbarton Fire District had signed the <br /> complementary agreement with the County referred to in the report " In <br /> response to question by Councilman Henderson , City Manager indicated <br /> that to his knowled `,e the District had not paid its obli ;ati. cn to the <br /> City through June 3O . With respect to the statement that fire re service <br /> would cease as of July 15 , if agreement is not executed by the County , <br /> or companion agreement between County and the District , he indicated <br /> that there was a possibility the agreement with County might not be able <br /> to be executed by June 30 , and, therefore , it was recommended to provide <br /> the allowance of fifteen days . It was intended to continue to provide <br /> service as in the past , assuming the County executes the agreements , <br /> and it was pointed out that the existing agreement with the District <br /> was a separate contractual obligatIon and the intention is to collect <br /> what is due , if it requires going to court . The new a:r;reements will <br /> be treated separately from the previous one , Motion carried on roll call <br /> vote , <br /> Rene.-aal of annual agreements as budgeted for Fiscal Year 1972 - 73 and approved <br /> by Council . <br /> Councilman Leipzig moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO , 6749 AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN CITY OF RINGWOOD CITY AND THE REDWOOD CITY CHAMBER <br /> OF COMMERCE RELATING TO THE GENERAL DEVELOPMENT AND PROMOTION OF LOCAL <br /> INDUSTRY AND COMMERCE AND TO THE IMPLEMENTATION OF A SPECIFIC PLAN FOR <br /> SUCH DEVELOPMENT IN THE CITY OF RflWOOD CITY, seconded by Councilman <br /> Williams and carried on roll call vote , Councilmen Henderson and Rhodes <br /> voting no . <br /> 6-26-72 <br /> Reg .
