Munier , Our Lady of Mt . <br /> Carmel Church . <br /> ON ROLL CALL, the following were noted present : Councilmen Mary W . <br /> Henderson , Marguerite Leipzig , Robert E . Norris , William C . Rhodes , <br /> Ray A . Weymouth , James S . Williams , Mayor Paul C . Keckley and <br /> Deputy City Clerk Frances I . Reggetts . Also noted present were <br /> City Manager James M . Fales , Jr . , City Attorney David E . Schricker , <br /> Assistant City Manager James M . Smith , Chief of Police , John R . <br /> McDonald , Jr . , Deputy Chief of Police Joel Mansfield , Chief Build - <br /> ing Official Charles Gyselbrecht , Fire Chief John Keller , Planner <br /> III Speer McClellan , Acting Deputy Director of Public Works Fred <br /> Sennewald , Construction Engineer William T . Martin , and Stenographer <br /> Anna Hampton . <br /> Councilman Weymouth moved to approve , as mailed , Minutes of Regular <br /> Meeting of August 7 , 1972 , seconded by Councilman Norris and <br /> carried , Councilman Rhodes abstaining . <br /> Presentation by Captain Chuck Larkin, Commander of the U . S . Coast Guard <br /> Station at San Francisco International Airport . Captain Larkin <br /> elaborated on the activities of the Coast Guard Air Station in <br /> San Mateo County , and commended the Coyote Point Harbor Master <br /> and Redwood City Fire Department on performance of services for <br /> the community in the South Bay . On behalf of Rear Admiral Mark <br /> Whalen , Commander , 12th Coast Guard District and Commander , <br /> Western Area , Department of Transportation of the 12th Coast <br /> Guard District of the U . S . Coast Guard , the Redwood City Fire <br /> Department was presented with a plaque in recognition and apprecia- <br /> tion of the significant efforts on their part to come to the <br /> assistance of the Coast Guard District and citizens of Redwood <br /> City and other cities of the South Bay . Fire Chief John Keller , <br /> Training Officer Greg Miller , and Alex Pylelo , Fire Fighter in <br /> charge of the Fire Boat , accepted the Certificate of Appreciation <br /> with appropriate expressions of thanks . <br /> COMMUNITY PROGRESS REPORT .
