His <br /> basic concern was that in order for the <br /> past four years of discussion and work <br /> sessions to be of any value , there had to <br /> be a team effort by all concerned with <br /> the plans and specifications to assure <br /> that the community with respect to people with <br /> the skills , will play a definite role in the <br /> can struction of the Community Center . <br /> The City Manager explained that as a follow -up on Mr . Boxley ' s <br /> remarks that 2 addenda would be added since there had been a <br /> with <br /> meeting/the representatives of the Mid -Peninsula Contractors <br /> Association and others concerned with respect to the Affirmative <br /> Action . One is required by H . U . D . , and the other one relates <br /> to area resident priority where the contractor is bidding the <br /> job . It was not certain the kinds of administrative education <br /> and explanation that will have to be gone th /nagh both prior to <br /> the submittal of bids and after the award of contract with <br /> respect to carrying out the provisions of specifications , since <br /> this is a new area .
