201 <br /> GENERAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT 3 -65 1966 SEWER SYSTEM FUND AS A <br /> REIMBURSABLE ADVANCE TO PROVIDE INTERIM FINANCING FOR THE CON- <br /> STRUCTION PROGRAM OF THE JOINT POWERS AUTHORITY FOR THE STRATEGIC <br /> CONSOLIDATION SEWERAGE PLAN, seconded by Councilman Leipzig . <br /> Staff report indicated that the SCSP Board of Commissioners <br /> approved additional work order the Outfall Sewerage Line , increasing <br /> costs approximately $ 54 , 000 , including engineering fees . City ' s <br /> portion of funding required , amounting to $30 , 996 , would be from <br /> GID 3 -65 Sewer Bond Construction Funds , and was expected to be <br /> reimbursed upon receipt of final payment of Federal Grant . Motion <br /> carried on roll call vote , Councilman Williams being noted absent . <br /> Councilman Henderson moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO , 6822 APPROVING AND <br /> AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURAL <br /> SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH CONSTRUCTION OF PHASE I IMPROVEMENTS <br /> IN RED MORTON COMMUNITY PARK, seconded by Councilman Norris . <br /> Staff report indicated this phase of the project would entail <br /> improvement of the park with installation of irrigation , grading , <br /> turfing , and landscaping , Staff recommended agreement with Ribera <br /> and Sue for preparation of Plans , specifications and estimate for <br /> the construction of Phase I . Funds were provided in the current <br /> Capital Improvement Budget to cover the improvements , Motion <br /> carried on roll call vote , Councilman Williams being noted absent . <br /> Councilman Norris moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO . 6823 REQUESTING APPROVAL <br /> OF APPLICATION TO CONSTRUCT A CROSSING AT GRADE AT BROADWAY AND THE <br /> RAILROAD TRACKS OF THE SOUTHERN PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY IN THE <br /> VICINITY OF ARGUELLO STREET IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, seconded <br /> by Councilman Rhodes . <br /> As part of the proposed improvements at the intersection of Broadway , <br /> Arguello , and Marshall , it would be necessary to relocate existing <br /> grade crossing at the Southern Pacific tracks . This relocation would <br /> require approval by Southern Pacific and the Public Utilities Commission , <br /> and Council action for requesting approvals . <br /> Councilman Weymouth inquired whether any problem was anticipated in <br /> securing the necessary approvals , and City Manager indicated there <br /> was none at this juncture , aithouth there had been no contact as yet <br /> with PUC .
