Following discussion by Council , Councilman Weymouth moved to accept the Report and authorize implementation of recommendations on the two proposi - tions , seconded by Councilman Leipzig and carried . (MINUTE ORDER #72 -192 ) Councilman Henderson moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO , 682 + SUPPORTING, AND EXPRESSING INTENTION TO COOPERATE WITH AREA.-WIDE APPROACH TO PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT , seconded by Council- man Norris . Staff report indicated resolution was developed as result of a meet - ing of the County ' s City Managers with representatives of Metropolitan Transit Committion (MTC ) regarding the preparation , processing and approval of applications for SB 325 funds . Motion carried on roll call vote , Councilman Williams being noted absent . Reassignment of Texaco Contract for providing City low -lead gasoline . Council had awarded a contract to Texaco , Inc . , to provide low - lead gasoline at $0 . 185 per gallon for fiscal year 1972 -73 . Texaco sales representatives had advised that the bid and contract were in error and should have been $0 . 1942 per gallon , as submitted in the first bid rejected by the City . Texaco had negotiated with Union Oil Company of California to supply City with low -lead gasoline for the remainder of Fiscal Year 1972 -73 for $0 . 181 per gallon . Staff recommended reassignment of Texaco contract to Union Oil Company . Mayor Keckley noted that a Council member had questioned whether the error was the City ' s or of Texaco . City Manager advised the error was Texaco ' s . City Attorney indicated that legally the City could enforce the contract , but that it would be to City ' s advantage from price standpoint to accept the reassignment . Councilman Weymouth moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO , 6825 CONDITIONALLY APPROVING ASSIGNMENT OF AGREEMENT FOR THE PURCHASE OF GASOLINE REQUIREMENTS FOR THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, seconded by Councilman Norris and carried on roll call vote , Councilman Williams being noted absent .
