242 <br /> Councilman Weymouth moved to introduce Ordinance adding Section 60 . 8 . 3 <br /> to Ordinance No . 1130 , the Redwood City Zoning Ordinance , rezoning <br /> property in the vicinity of Woodside Road and Oxford Street , and <br /> finding the zoning amendment not to be inconsistent with the <br /> Woodside Road Element of the General Plan, seconded by Councilman <br /> Norris and carried on roll call vote , Councilman Henderson voting <br /> no , and Councilman Rhodes being noted absent . <br /> Councilman Weymouth moved to accept dedication of a one -foot non-access <br /> strip at the rear of the property around the Regent Street Cul -de - sac , <br /> seconded by Councilman Williams and carried . <br /> (MINUTE ORDER #72 -213-A ) <br /> WEED ABATEMENT PROGRAM, 1973 . <br /> Specifications had been prepared by Department of Public Works for <br /> weed abatement program for 1973 and recommended for Council approval . <br /> Funds were provided in the current budget . <br /> Councilman Henderson moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO , 6843 DECLARING WEEDS <br /> AND RELATED MATTERS TO BE A NUISANCE, AND ORDERING THEIR REMOVAL, and <br /> RESOLUTION NO , 6844 APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE WEED ERADICATION <br /> PROGRAM IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AND AUTHORIZING CITY CLERK TO <br /> ADVERTISE FOR BIDS THEREFOR, seconded by Councilman Leipzig and <br /> carried on roll call vote , Councilman Rhodes being noted absent . <br /> Councilman Williams moved to introduce Ordinance repealing Division 2 <br /> of , adding Divisions 2 and 3 to , Article II of Chapter 5 , amending <br /> Section 5 , 60 of and adding Section 5 . 65 . 5 to , the Code of the City <br /> of Redwood City , relating to the administering of canine anti -rabies <br /> vaccination, seconded by Councilman Norris . <br /> The County Department of Public Health and Welfare had requested that <br /> City adopt an ordinance requiring administration of anti -rabies <br /> vaccine to every dog over 4 months of age , with certain exceptions , <br /> and providing for enforcement . Report , including communication <br /> from the County and copy of proposed ordinance , was submitted to Council . <br /> During discussion , it was found that while the ordinance would not <br /> change the amount of license fee , evidence of vaccination would be <br /> required prior to issuance of a license . This could be done either <br /> by application in person , mailing of a copy of the vaccination <br /> certificate with the license application , or submitting the original , <br /> with the option of requesting the original to be returned .
