Councilman Henderson moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO , 6845 CONSENTING TO THE ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY IN THE VICINITY OF WOODSIDE ROAD AND SPRING STREET TO THE FAIR OAKS SEWER MAINTENANCE DISTRICT TO PROVIDE SANITARY SEWER FACILITIES FOR SAID AREA , seconded by Councilman Norris . Staff report indicated that the triangular shaped parcel of land at the southeast corner of Woodside Expressway and Spring Street is to be developed for a commercial building . City sewage collection system did not service this area . The land lies adjacent to the Fair Oaks Maintenance District , and County had requested that Council approve annexation of the parcel to that District . Motion carried on roll call vote , Councilman Rhodes being noted absent . Councilman Norris moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO , 6846 APPROVING SPECIFICA- TIONS FOR DEMOLITION OF STRUCTURE at 939 , 949 MAIN STREET ; AND AUTHOR- IZING CITY CLERK TO CALL FOR BIDS THEREFOR, seconded by Councilman Henderson . The estate involving this property was still pending under administra- tion of the San Mateo County Coroner and District Attorney . Staff recommended that Council approve call for bids for demolition of the building , as previously approved by Council under abatement proceedings on October 18 , 1972 , to prevent prolonging of the demolition . If actual verification had been received from the County prior to December llth of their proceeding with demolition, no action would be requested by Council . However , Chief Building Official indicated his Department had received written assurance that the County would demolish the building , but the work had not been scheduled . He therefore urged that Council take action and call for bids . Motion carried on roll call vote , Councilman Rhodes being noted absent .
