He suggested that questions or areas of concern the Council <br /> might have be transmitted to his office , since he had found it beneficial <br /> when a franchisee wants to request rate increases to have these kinds of. <br /> discussions . <br /> Mayor Bury presented to Councilman Rhodes , Chairman of the Council <br /> Tra.nsporta. tion Committee , framed Certificate of Commendation presented <br /> to Redwood City in recognition of the Mini Bus System . <br /> PUBLIC HEARING , Resolution of Intention of the Planning Commission to amend <br /> the Zoning Ordinance , Ordinance Ho . 1130 , relating to fee structure for <br /> Zoning Ordinance applications . <br /> Planning Commission had recommended , following a public hearing on <br /> December i4 , 1971 , that the proposed amendment would be in the best <br /> interest of the City as a whole , since cost of processing various zoning <br /> applications far exceeded fees for such processing . Report was submitted <br /> to Council . <br /> City Manager reported that due to the very technical language in the <br /> proposed Ordinance , staff was not entirely sure that what was being <br /> recnmended as legislation had accurately translated what was intended <br /> by the Planning Commission , and that therefore it was suggested and <br /> recommended to Council that the ma. tter be referred back to the Planning <br /> Commission for clarification . City Attorney suggested it might be <br /> preferable to continue the hearing to a date certain , to obviate the need <br /> to set another hearing . <br /> Councilman Weymouth moved to continue the public hearing to March 6 , 1972 , and <br /> refer the matter back to the Planning Commission for their clarification , <br /> 2 _7 - 7 <br />
