82 ( c ) DAMAGE CLAIMS : ( 1 ) Duane L . Coleman , 2719 Ohio Ave . , Redwood City , for property damage alleged to have been caused by negligence of City employees . (2 ) Mary Arca , 306 San Carlos Ave , , Redwood City , for personal injuries alleged to have been caused from fall on faulty -'- City sidewalk , (Council action would deny the claims and refer to insurance carrier) ( d ) ACCOUNTS PAYABLE , Nos . 83376 to 83465 , totaling $ 175 , 772 , 83 . (Council action would approve accounts for payment by City) Councilman Williams moved to approve CONSENT CALENDAR , Items (a ) , ( c ) and (d ) , seconded by Councilman Weymouth and carried on roll call vote . (MINUTE ORDER #71- 56A , B) COMMUNICATIONS : 1 . Water Quality Control Advisory Committee of County of San Mateo , regarding the need for adoption of a Water Quality Control Program for San Mateo County and requesting Council indication of support for development of such a program . Mayor Bury asked that recommendation be amended to read : to refer to Staff for report back to Council . (Memo 3 -24-71 ) 2 , Bay Area Grocers Association, regarding their viewpoints on non- returnable container legislation and recommendations for future on this problem . (Referred to Council by Mayor Bury ) Councilman Henderson reported that she had received notice of her appointment as League of California Cities representative to Governor Reagan ' s Inter- departmental Committee on Housing . Councilman Keckley called attention to proposed Ordinance relating to permits for solicitors , peddlers and charitable sales , copies of which had been provided to Council for review , and asked if Council had any questions they be referred to him . Mayor Bury commented that he hoped garage sales would come under consideration . Mayor Bury noted that the Federal Government was offering flood control insurance , and asked thata committee be formed , with Councilman Williams as chairman , of individuals in the insurance field , to consider this proposal and report back to Council . He felt that certain questions , such as having a General Plan , would justify receiving recommendations from people experienced in the insurance field , (Memo 3-24-71 ) Councilman Petersen moved to adjourn by adoption of RESOLUTION NO . 6475 COMMEMORATING THE MEMORY OF JAMES C . WARD , and to an Adjourned Regular Meeting , March 24 , 1971 , 7 : 30 P .
