113 <br /> (b ) Adoption of ORDINANCE NO , 1488 PROVIDING FOR THE TEMPORARY SUSPENSION <br /> OF THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 2 . 24 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY RELATING TO THE ISSUANCE AND SIGNATURES OF CHECKS AND WARRANTS DRAWN <br /> ON CITY FUNDS , AND ESTABLISHING INTERIM AUTHORITY OF CERTAIN OFFICIATES <br /> HEREIN DESIGNATED TO SIGN WARRANTS AND CHECKS , AND AUTHORIZING THE USE <br /> OF FACSIMILE SIGNATURES IN CONNECTION THEREWITH . <br /> Ordinances were introduced at Council meeting of April 12 , <br /> 1971 , and had been published . <br /> ( c ) ACCOUNTS PAYABLE, Nos . 83818 to 83933, inclusive , totaling $65 , 568 . 41 . <br /> Councilman Henderson noted what appeared to be a discrepancy <br /> on Page 257 of the warrants , and requested correction be <br /> made . <br /> Councilman Henderson moved to approve CONSENT CALENDAR , Items ( b ) and ( c ) as <br /> amended, seconded by Councilman Williams and carried on roll call vote , Council- <br /> man Petersen being noted absent . <br /> Councilman Henderson moved to approve CONSENT CALENDAR , Item ( a) , seconded by <br /> Councilman Williams and carried on roll call vote , Councilman Rhodes voting <br /> no , and Councilman Petersen being noted absent . <br /> Mayor Bury noted that a revised Budget Calendar had been submitted , reflecting <br /> some changes in dates . Councilman Henderson moved to adopt the revised <br /> Budget Hearing Schedule , seconded by Councilman Williams and carried . ( MINUTE <br /> ORDER #71-70 ) <br /> Mayor Bury asked that notice of the revised schedule be submitted to the news - <br /> paper for publication . <br /> Councilman Williams moved to adjourn the meeting , seconded by Councilman Rhodes <br /> and carried .
