State Department of Public Works , Division of Highways , regarding a <br /> report to be made to the 1972 Legislature on development of the California <br /> Freeway and Expressway System and recommendations being sought from <br /> cities and counties before July 15th and the conducting of scheduled <br /> public hearings thereafter . <br /> 9 . Peninsula Manufacturers Association , urging statement by Council in <br /> support of interim plan of South Bay Water Advisory Council , presented <br /> May 11 , 1971 , to the State Water Resources Control Board , which is to <br /> meet in San Francisco on June 17 . <br /> Recommendation : Refer to Water Users Conference . <br /> Mayor Bury referred to a letter he received from Mayor Marriott , of Sacramento , <br /> concerning Aerojet Engine to be constructed , and indicated he will respond . <br /> Councilman Henderson referred to letter from City of Millbrae regarding <br /> Convention Bureau , and requesting response from the various cities <br /> prior to June 21 , 1971 . It was suggested this be referred to Staff <br /> for report back at Council meeting of June 14 . <br /> Communication from City of Santa Monica received individually in the mail by <br /> Council was to be referred to Legislative Committee . <br /> Councilman Henderson moved to accept Communications and recommendations , seconded <br /> by Councilman Williams and carried .
