State Department of Public Works , Division of Highways , regarding a report to be made to the 1972 Legislature on development of the California Freeway and Expressway System and recommendations being sought from cities and counties before July 15th and the conducting of scheduled public hearings thereafter . 9 . Peninsula Manufacturers Association , urging statement by Council in support of interim plan of South Bay Water Advisory Council , presented May 11 , 1971 , to the State Water Resources Control Board , which is to meet in San Francisco on June 17 . Recommendation : Refer to Water Users Conference . Mayor Bury referred to a letter he received from Mayor Marriott , of Sacramento , concerning Aerojet Engine to be constructed , and indicated he will respond . Councilman Henderson referred to letter from City of Millbrae regarding Convention Bureau , and requesting response from the various cities prior to June 21 , 1971 . It was suggested this be referred to Staff for report back at Council meeting of June 14 . Communication from City of Santa Monica received individually in the mail by Council was to be referred to Legislative Committee . Councilman Henderson moved to accept Communications and recommendations , seconded by Councilman Williams and carried .
