State Division of Highways notification of public hearing set for <br /> September 1 , 1971 , 10 : 00 a . m . , Room 101 , County Government Center , <br /> 590 Hamilton Street , regarding State Highway System . <br /> 2 . Copies of Resolutions adopted by City of Palo Alto opposing deletion <br /> of El Camino Real and Skyline Boulevard from the State Highway System , <br /> Mayor Bury indicated City Manager had participated at County Manager <br /> Association where support of Palo Alto ' s position was indicated , and <br /> hoped to have the matter taken up at Council of Mayors to seek to <br /> have the State continue these as State Highways . In additional <br /> discussion , it was recommended City Manager attend the hearing , <br /> Mayor Bury advised he intended to be present , and it was suggested <br /> that as many Council members as were able to should make the effort <br /> to attend as a show of solid support .
