( Sets public hearing for September 13 , 1971 . ) ( b ) Adopt ORDINANCE NO , 1502 AMENDING SECTION 29 . 69 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, RELATING TO THE PLANTING OF CERTAIN TREES . ( c ) Adopt ORDINANCE NO , 1503 AMENDING SECTIONS 28 , 4 , 1 , 28 . 15 , 28 . 16 , AND 33 . 33 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, RELATING TO PERMITS AND PERMIT FEES . ( Council action would deny the claim and refer to City Attorney . ) (MINUTE ORDER #71- 152 ) ; ( 2 ) Mr . and Mrs , R . Collier , on behalf of Ralph Collier , a minor , for personal injuries allegedly sustained at swimming pool . ( Council action will approve accounts for payment by the City . ) Councilman Weymouth moved to approve CONSENT CALENDAR , Items (a ) through ( e ) , seconded by Councilman Henderson and carried on roll call vote , Councilman Keckley being noted absent . COMMUNICATIONS : 1 . State Division of Highways notification of public hearing set for September 1 , 1971 , 10 : 00 a . m . , Room 101 , County Government Center , 590 Hamilton Street , regarding State Highway System . 2 . Copies of Resolutions adopted by City of Palo Alto opposing deletion of El Camino Real and Skyline Boulevard from the State Highway System , Mayor Bury indicated City Manager had participated at County Manager Association where support of Palo Alto ' s position was indicated , and hoped to have the matter taken up at Council of Mayors to seek to have the State continue these as State Highways . In additional discussion , it was recommended City Manager attend the hearing , Mayor Bury advised he intended to be present , and it was suggested that as many Council members as were able to should make the effort to attend as a show of solid support . ( Comments refer to Items 1 and 2 , ) 3 , Transmittal notice of application of Pacific Telephone Company before the Public Utilities Commission for authority to increase certain intrastate rates and charges for telephone service . (Application submitted is on file in the City Clerk ' s office and available to any Council members desiring to review same . ) 4 . Sequoia Union High School District regarding the " Charge to the Committee by the Board of Trustees " .
