Karl Vollmayer .
Mayor Bury noted that the purpose of the meeting was to anticipate keeping to
schedule for budget sessions and eliminate need for making decisions under
pressure . Council indicated it would be desirable if the proposed dates
set for May were to be considered firm ( May 5 , 12 , 19 and 26) . In discussing
locations for the meetings , it was felt at least one should be held at the
Municipal Services Center , and that hopefully they will be scheduled at
locations which would permit interested citizens to participate .
City Manager advised that this was intended to be a pre -budget briefing, and
that City Auditor-Accountant had prepared work sheets outlining the fiscal
outlook for 1971 - 1972 , based on five assumptions , any change in which would
have the potential for changing the package . Copies of the work sheets were
distributed by City Auditor -Accountant , who then reviewed them in detail .
