Warne Sanders , Woodside Road United Methodist <br /> Church . <br /> Mayor Bury called the meeting to order at 7 : 40 P . M . and on ROLL CALL , the follow - <br /> ing were noted present : Councilmen Mary W . Henderson , Paul C . Keckley , <br /> Herbert G . Petersen , William C . Rhodes , Ray A . Weymouth , Mayor Robert H . Bury , <br /> and Acting City Clerk Frances I . Reggetts . Also noted present were City <br /> Manager Howard C . Ullrich , City Attorney David E . Schricker , Police Chief <br /> John R . McDonald , Jr . , Fire Chief John Keller , City Auditor -Accountant Jack <br /> Ference , Chief Building Official Charles Gyselbrecht , Planning Director Ken <br /> Schroeter , Construction Engineer William T . Martin , Personnel Analyst Mike <br /> Brock , and Acting Secretary Evelyn Styler . <br /> The following Government Affairs Program students were noted present on <br /> roll call : Greg Edwards , Clark Epperson , Jeanette Garretty , Bob Hilton , <br /> Janice Johnson , George Minear , and Leslie Young . <br /> Mayor Bury commented on the outstanding success of the Government Affairs Program <br /> noting this was the last Council meeting these particular students would <br /> attend as a group , and thanked them for their participation as counterparts <br /> of members of the Council and various commissions of the City , stating that <br /> their appraisal report as they leave their assignments would be much <br /> appreciated . <br /> Councilman Keckley moved to approve , as mailed , Minutes of Regular Meeting of <br /> January 4 , 1971 , and Minutes of Executive Session of January 4 , 1971 , seconded <br /> by Councilman Weymouth and carried . <br /> COMMUNITY PROGRESS REPORT . <br /> Redwood Shores . City Manager noted that representatives of DMJM were present <br /> to report , and that Mr . Costello was available and authorized to speak on behalf <br /> of Leslie Properties . <br /> Mr . Jim Reiter of DMJM reported on progress in Redwood <br /> Shores , stating that 17 working days out of 22 were lost <br /> due to rain in December and also because of the holidays <br /> not much progress was made in terms of construction . <br /> He reported that the framing and roofing stage has been <br /> reached in most units in the William Lyon project . <br /> American Housing Guild has made 20 starts , so there have <br /> been 51 actual starts with over half of them being in the <br /> roof framing stage , As reported last month , Marlin 1 <br /> subdivision is virtually complete , having been held up <br />
