44 With reference to Item 2 , Council requested that the Staff analysis be submitted as early as possible this week to allow time for review of the report prior to the March 1st meeting . In response to question , City Manager advised that there is no statutory date for approval by Council . Several cities are involved , and the San Mateo County Scavenger Company had requested that they be scheduled to appear on March lst . If Council is not prepared to make a decision , another date can be set . With reference to Item 3 , Mayor Bury commented that perhaps it would be possible for Council to be represented at the conference . Mayor Bury requested that the following communications be added to the record : Letter , Mrs . R . E . Cadwalader , to Mayor Bury , regarding Coin Show at the American Legion Hall on March 6-7 , 1971 . Letter , Jose E. Bernal , President , Mexican -American Unity Council , to Mayor Bury , commenting on appointments to Council and Planning Commission . Agenda for Council of Mayors meeting . Councilman Henderson requested that the following also be added to the record : Letter , Mary C . Davey , Councilman , Town of Los Altos Hills , requesting an opportunity to present on March 8 a proposal for a park district in southern San Mateo County and northern Santa Clara County . Councilman Henderson expressed the hope that Council would honor the request and give this group an opportunity to present their proposal . Mayor Bury was concerned that the presentation would be too long for the March 8th meeting which already has several lengthy items on the Agenda . Councilman Henderson suggested Council could ask Councilman Davey to adhere to an allotted time limit . After discussion , City Manager suggested Staff contact Councilman Davey to determine what their time needs would be . It was so ordered by Mayor Bury . Councilman Weymouth moved that recommendations on Communications be approved , with specific recommendation that continuance requested in Item 1 be granted , seconded by Councilman Henderson , and carried . (MINUTE ORDER #71-35 ) Councilman Henderson , noting that appointment calendar is open for Park and Recreation Commissioners , nominated Dorothea. Terrill to serve a full term on the Park and Recreation Commission .
