197 <br />After further discussion, Councilman Keckley withdrew his second to the motion. <br />Councilman Weymouth moved to adopt RESOLUTION N0, 6285 GRANTING EXCEPTION TO <br />CERTAIN PROVISIONS OF CHAPTER 30 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, BEING <br />THE SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY --WALTER YOUNG AND <br />MRS, BERT O'BACK, with exception being granted subject to the condition that <br />Subdivision Map of applicant be amended to reflect access be 20 feet in width <br />at all points from the street to the rear lot, seconded by Councilman Keckley. <br />Council discussed further the matter of prohibiting parking in the 20' access, <br />and Councilman Henderson offered an amendment to the main motion to add prohi- <br />bition of parking in the access, in connection with the exceptions, seconded by <br />Councilman Keckley_ <br />Mr. Walter Young stated he would not object to having to <br />remove the garage in order to comply but felt imposing <br />restrictions on parking should also apply to everyone. <br />Councilman Henderson questioned whether it would be possible to refer the matter <br />to the Ordinance Review Committee to determine if the restriction could be <br />applied retroactively to others. <br />Councilman Petersen indicated his agreement in principle to the amendment, <br />but felt the main motion should be acted upon, without the added restriction <br />on parking, until such tljne as the whole matter could be studied. <br />Amended motion failed on roll call vote, Councilman Arnett, Petersen, Rhodes, <br />Weymouth and Mayor Bury voting no; Councilman Henderson and Keckley voting yes. <br />The main motion of Councilman Weymouth carried on roll call vote, Councilmen <br />Arnett, Keckley, Petersen, Rhodes, Weymouth and Mayor Bury voting yes; Council- <br />man Henderson voting no. <br />Councilman Keckley moved to refer the matter of restricting parking in sub- <br />standard access to panhandle lots to Ordinance Review Committee, seconded by <br />Councilman Arnett and carried. (MINUTE ORDER #70-83) <br />Councilman Arnett moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO, 6286 AMENDING RESOLUTION NO, 3932 <br />ESTABLISHING GROUP RATES FOR USE OF SMALL BOAT HOIST FACILITIES IN THE MARINE <br />HARBOR, seconded by Councilman Keckley. <br />Councilman Arnett briefly reviewed the report dated May 6, 1970 of the Marina <br />-- Committee, of which he is Chairman, which recommended revision of the annual <br />fee of $500 for group usage of the small boat hoi.st,and provision to allow <br />groups the option to have members pay on an individual basis. <br />
