($200 <br />Training Fund deleted - see correction of June 8, 1970) Budget approved. <br />City Manager <br />It was noted by Auditor footnote covering costs intended for City <br />Manager and Assistant City Manager for attendance at International <br />City Managers Association should be changed to $590 and City Managers <br />Spring meeting should be changed to $260 as total figures for these <br />accountings included this sum. <br />City Manager responded to questions concerning attendance for himself <br />and Assistant City Manager for conferences, offered his justification <br />for necessity of attendance of City Manager and his Assistant for <br />these meetings. Budget approved on items noted only. <br />City Clerk <br />City Manager reported a change requested by City Clerk in that part <br />time Intermediate Stenographer be considered for this position instead <br />of Typist Clerk classification. It was also noted by Auditor a clerical <br />error had been made in amount of permanent salary costs and change <br />should be increased to $20,3+9• Council indicated approval of change <br />in classification for part time help for this Department. Budget <br />approved as indicated. <br />City Treasurer <br />City Manager reported change of office spacing to combine City Treasurer <br />with Collection Department would make for a more efficient operation. <br />Budget approved. <br />City Auditor <br />Auditor reported new computer was due for delivery by the end of June <br />and it was anticipated payroll accounting would be ready on the <br />equipment by first of August. Assistant City Manager reported on <br />his attendance as a member of the County committee studying a <br />consortium but expressed doubt that any such operation would be <br />possible for at least three years.
