2.6 Councilman Petersen's motion to modify the ordinance lost on roll call vote, Councilmen Henderson, Rhodes, and Mayor Bury voting no; and Councilmen Petersen and Weymouth voting yes. Councilmen Arnett and Keckley noted absent. Councilman Henderson moved to adopt the ordinance as introduced, seconded by Councilman Rhodes, Councilman Petersen moved, on the basis that only five Council members were present instead of seven, to table the matter, seconded by Councilman Weymouth and carried on roll call vote. Councilmen Henderson, Petersen, Rhodes and Weymouth voting yes; Mayor Bury voting no. Councilmen Arnett and Keckley noted absent. City Attorney advised the effect of the motion would be to suspend the matter until reactivated, at which time it would be necessary procedurally to reintroduce the ordinance. An alternative would be a motion for continuance, which would have the effect of undoing tabling motion. Councilman Henderson, to preclude necessity for mailing another set of notices, moved to continue consideration of the ordinance for adoption until meeting of June 22, 1970, seconded by Councilman Petersen, and carried. Mayor Bury indicated that a report concerning parking might be appropriate at that time. (MINUTE ORDER #70-106) Application of FRANK report, R. and BEVERLY R. AIELLO for Exception to Subdivision Ordinance and recommended that Council grant the exceptions, to resubdivide two parcels into three parcels, 790 and 791 Bain Place (Portion of Lot 1, Block 29, Oak Knoll Manor, in an 11R-1" (Single -Family) District. According to Staff report, Planning Commission had considered the application at their meeting of May 26, and recommended that Council grant the exceptions, subject to certain conditions. Councilman Petersen moved to adopt RESOLUTION N0, 6315 GRANTING EXCEPTION TO CERTAIN PROVISIONS OF CHAPTER 30 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY - FRANK R. AND BEVERLY R. AIELLO, seconded by Councilman Weymouth. It had been indicated in the Staff report that proposed subdivision was to be resubmitted to the Planning Commission, and in response to Council question, Planning Director confirmed this had been done with lot lines rearranged to accomplish a better site with carport, and to assure a 20' wide access easement. Motion carried on roll call vote, Councilman Henderson voting no. Councilmen Arnett and Keckley noted absent. Councilman Weymouth moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO, 6316 APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS MACHINES FOR CONSULTING SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH THE DESIGN OF A DATA PROCESSING SYSTEM, seconded by Councilman Rhodes.
