268 <br />Staff report indicated IBM proposes to design and document the Utility <br />Billing System for the IBM 360-20 at estimated cost of $3,080, with the <br />work to be done concurrently with City Staff implementing the Payroll -Personnel <br />and General Accounting Systems in the computer. Staff recommended acceptance <br />of the proposal to speed the total systems implementation on the IBM 360-20. <br />Report was submitted to Council. <br />As proposal is projected by IBM, it will permit Utility Billing to be placed <br />in effect four months earlier, and the IBM 6400 released, resulting in a <br />net saving of approximately $1432. Motion carried on roll call vote. <br />Councilmen Arnett and Keckley noted absent. <br />Councilman Henderson moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO. 6317 AUTHORIZING AND DIRECT- <br />ING PURCHASE OF CERTAIN HEREIN DESCRIBED REAL PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE VICINITY <br />OF AN UNIMPROVED ROADWAY COMMONLY KNOWN AS CANYON LANE, IN THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY, CALIFORNIA; AND, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING PUBLICATION OF <br />NOTICE OF INTENTION OF SAID ACQUISITION, seconded by Councilman Weymouth, <br />City Manager noted the property consists of three fine level lots, and <br />offering price is $17,500, which funds are available in the Open Space <br />Program in present budget. Motion carried on roll call vote. Councilmen <br />Arnett and Keckley noted absent. <br />Councilman Rhodes moved to adopt RESOLUTION N0, 6318 APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING <br />ACCEPTANCE OF REVOCABLE PERMIT ISSUED BY CITY AND COUNTY OF SAN FRANCISCO <br />(WATER DEPARTMENT) FOR USE OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY IN VICINITY OF OAK <br />KNOLL DRIVE AND CANYON ROAD FOR PARK AND RECREATIONAL PURPOSES, seconded by <br />Councilman Henderson. <br />City Manager's report had been submitted to Council on June 8 which also <br />advised that request for use of Hetch-Hetchy right-of-way in the area of <br />proposed Canyon Road Park had been approved by San Francisco Water Department. <br />Motion carried on roll call vote. Councilmen Arnett and Keckley noted absent. <br />ACCEPTANCE of DOLPHIN SUBDIVISION NO. 1, Redwood Shores <br />Improvements had been inspected by DMJM and certified complete in accordance <br />with plans and specifications. Staff recommended acceptance, subject to <br />one-year guarantee of workmanship and materials. <br />Councilman Weymouth moved to accept the improvements, Dolphin Subdivision No. 1, <br />Redwood Shores, subject to the usual one-year guarantee of workmanship and <br />materials, seconded by Councilman Petersen. <br />
