<br />Councilman Keckley moved to adopt RESOLUTION N0, 6208 APPOINTING MARIAN MC CRINDLE
<br />TO THE POSITION OF CITY CLERK OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, seconded by Councilman
<br />Henderson and carried on roll call vote, Councilman Arnett being noted absent.
<br />Councilman Rosselli moved to adopt RESOLUTION N0, 6209 AUTHORIZING CITY CLERK TO ACCEPT
<br />GRANTS OR DEEDS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION
<br />N0. 6145, seconded by Councilman Henderson and carried on roll call vote, Council-
<br />man Arnett being noted absent.
<br />Mayor Bury expressed appreciation on behalf of Council for the efforts of the
<br />Council's Committee regarding this Department, and the Committee would now be
<br />discharged of its duties.
<br />Councilman Petersen moved to introduce ordinance establishing salaries for employees
<br />of the City of Redwood City; and, repealing Ordinance No. 1382, seconded by
<br />Councilman Henderson. This ordinance, it was stated, represented results of the
<br />first year's activities of the Negotiation Team, and it was felt a desirable
<br />package had been developed. Motion carried.
<br />Councilman Weymouth moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO. 6210 AMENDING SECTION 4 of RULE
<br />VI, ADDING SECTION 6 TO RULE VI, AND AMENDING SECTION 2 OF RULE XII AND SECTION
<br />2 OF RULE XIII OF THE PERSONNEL RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD
<br />CITY, RELATING TO UNIFORM ALLOWANCES, HEALTH INSURANCE PREMIUMS, OVERTIME, AND
<br />SICK LEAVE, RESPECTIVELY, seconded by Councilman Petersen and carried on roll
<br />call vote, Councilman Arnett being noted absent.
<br />Mayor Bury reported on the recent award presented to the Recreation Director, and
<br />suggested that a Resolution honoring "Red" Morton would be appropriate.

<br />mouth, Mayor Robert H. Bury, and City Clerk Marian McCrindle. Also noted present
<br />were City Manager Howard C. Ullrich, City Attorney David E. Schricker, Assistant
<br />City Manager Henry V. Burget, Fire Chief Joseph Lodi, Police Chief John R.
<br />McDonald,Jr., Director of Public Works J. Louis Scherer, Planning Director
<br />Ken Schrootew., Auditor�Accountant Jack Ference, City Treasurer Harriet Drivon,
<br />Chief Building�bf£icial Charles Gyselbrecht, and Secretary Frances Ozzanto,
<br />Councilman Keckley moved to approve Minu`es of the Regular Meeting of January 26,
<br />1970, and Minutes of the Executive Session of January 26, 1970, as mailed,
<br />seconded by Councilman Henderson and carried.
<br />Progress Report -Redwood Shores. City Manager noted that because of adverse weather,
<br />there had been relatively little building activity during the past month. He
<br />advised of meetings between technical staffs of DMJM and Dames and Moore with
<br />the Corps of Engineers, in an effort to obtain the necessary information to
<br />furnish to FHA which they will need to report back to Commissioner Eugene
<br />Gulledge, who in turn, will be able to report back to the subcommittee which
<br />brought the project to a standstill. Hopefully, meetings will be concluded
<br />this week and the Corps of Engineers will then be able to prepare a report to FHA
<br />and provide answers the subcommittee will need before taking action. City
<br />Manager reported also that plans and specifications for placing playground
<br />
