Councilman Henderson asked for a report con- <br /> cerning possibility of relocating several large redwood trees near the creek area <br /> where widening will necessitate their removal . ( Memo 7/8/69 ) <br /> Mayor Bury asked whether a special meeting of Council might be possible when -- - <br /> funds received from Woodside , if delay of awarding contract would cause harmful <br /> effects . Mr . Jain advised a culvert has to be built along this roadway before <br /> widening can be commenced and since working season getting late , he had hoped award <br /> could be made , subject to funds being received . City Attorney stated perhaps a <br /> transfer of funds could be made in order that award of contract might be approved , <br /> if City Manager and Auditor could supply a source of funds . City Manager asked <br /> if this matter might be held until later in the meeting in order that Auditor might <br /> check for a possible transfer Of funds , <br /> Mayor Bury ordered this matter be continued until later in the meeting and a further <br /> report made by Council after research by the Auditor . <br /> ACCEPTANCE of Dredge Exterior Waterways #1 project , GID 1 -64 , approved , subject to the <br /> usual guarantees , on motion of Councilman Keckley , seconded by Councilman Weymouth . <br /> DMJM reported this work had been completed satisfactorily in accordance with the <br /> contract documents and recommended acceptance .
