City Manager , in reply to question for <br /> further details as to one of the conditions specified relating to interim drainage <br /> improvements and sale of Series "E " Bonds for the District , responded this was to <br /> insure interim improvements for upper reaches of Beldrain under Marine World Parkway <br /> and reshaping of the channel which will eventually be scheduled in the "E ? bond series <br /> for permanent improvements , the exact form for which is not known at this time . <br /> City Manager was also questioned as to article appearing in San Jose Mercury indi - <br /> cating the shopping center ( Shoretown ) project was not proceeding as anticipated . <br /> He advised he had no knowledge of any delay of this proposed development , but would <br /> check . ( Memo 7/8/69 . Motion carried on roll call vote , Councilman Arnett being <br /> noted absent . <br /> Cancellation of United Pacific Insurance Faithful Performance Blanket Bond approved as of <br /> July 10 , 1968 , 12 : 01 a . m . , on motion of Councilman Rosselli , seconded by Councilman <br /> Petersen . <br /> Staff reported this bond had been returned for cancellation as coverage for faithful <br /> performance was included in three year comprehensive insurance policy issued by <br /> United States Fire Insurance Company for the period 7/10/69 - 7/1/71 , and this policy , <br /> therefore , is not necessary . Policy to be cancelled covered all employees with <br /> $ 10 , 000 with excess coverage on certain positions varying from $ 90 , 000 to $240 , 000 <br /> and present policy increased blanket faithful performance to $ 250 , 000 on all employees . <br /> Motion carried . ( MINUTE ORDER #69 - 137 ) <br /> Continuation for Discussion on Award of Bid , Alameda de las Pulgas , Fernside to Woodside <br /> Road improvements . <br /> City Manager advised , if Council desired to proceed in award of this bid , a transfer <br /> of $23 , 000 could be made by Resolution from funds in Harbor Boulevard widening ac - <br /> count to the Alameda improvement account , and then replaced thereafter when monies <br /> actually received from Woodside . City Attorney advised Resolution could provide for <br /> the deposit of $ 23 , 000 directly to the Harbor Boulevard account .
