Louis Scherer , Planning Director Ken Schroeter, <br /> Auditor-Accountant Jack Ference , Chief Building Official Charles Gyselbrecht , <br /> and Deputy City Clerk Marian McCrindle . <br /> Councilman Keckley moved to approve Minutes of Regular Meeting of August 4 , 1969 , <br /> as corrected ( registering Councilman Hendersonts no vote on Ordinance No . 1412 <br /> appropriating $20 , 000 to provide funds for construction of sanitary sewer and <br /> related facilities in connection with certain assessment district proceedings ) , <br /> seconded by Councilman Arnett and carried . <br /> Mayor Bury presented Stephen J . Mack , Jr . , with Certificate denoting his successful <br /> completion of a course given by the California Water Pollution Control Association , <br /> and commended him for this interest . <br /> Loyalty Oaths administered and Certificates of Appointment for Police Reserves presented <br /> to the following : <br /> Niles Anderson John Kenney <br /> David Braasch Edward Molinsky <br /> Robert Creger Harry Pierce , Jr . <br /> Carlos Chester James Radford <br /> Ralph Cyr William Rhodes <br /> Paul Eagan John Romelfanger <br /> David Elward Joe Saucedo , Jr . <br /> Anthony Fraone Ray Spitler <br /> Carl Groschup Ivan Stone <br /> David Gyselbrecht Michael Turturici <br /> Bernard Katshen Gerald Williams <br /> Mayor Bury and Police Chief McDonald commended these new Police Reserve Officers for <br /> having offered their services to the community in this capacity and to serve without <br /> pay , in order to augment police protection services . <br /> PUBLIC HEARING , Resolution of Intention to hold an election , LAKEVIEW WAY ANNEXATION #2 , <br /> declared open and affidavits of publication and mailing ordered filed . It was noted <br /> _ this was the public hearing scheduled for receiving protests , if any , from the <br /> property owners , before calling the special election for this proposed annexation . <br /> City Clerk reported protests to this annexation had been received from the following : <br /> Peter Nash , 835 Lakeview Way ( owner of Lot 12 , <br /> Block 202 , and Lot 12 , Block 304 ) <br /> Mr . and Mrs .
