4 61) Councilman Weymouth moved to introduce Ordinance amending Section 26 . 4 of the Code of the City of Redwood City relating to compensation of members of the Reserve Police Corps , seconded by Councilman Henderson . Staff reported ordinances as proposed would provide that the Chief of Police with the approval of the City Manager , may compensate Reserve Officers for extraordinary or non -routine duty at the hourly rate of $ 4 . 32 . Councilman Rosselli moved to introduce Ordinance amending Section 43 of Ordinance No . 1382 , the Salary Ordinance of the City of Redwood City , relating to monthly and hourly rates , seconded by Councilman Arnett and carried . Councilman Rosselli moved to adopt ORDINANCE NO , 1422 OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY CALLING A SPECIAL ELECTION TO BE HELD ON THE 4TH DAY OF NOVEMBER , 1969 , PER- TAINING TO THE ANNEXATION OF " LAKEVIEW WAY ANNEXATION NO . 2 " TO THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY , seconded by Councilman Henderson and carried on roll call vote , Councilman Keckley being noted absent . ACCOUNTS PAYABLE , Nos . 73870 to 74024 , inclusive , plus 74033 and 74034 , totaling $491 , 072 , 50 , approved on motion of Councilman Rosselli , seconded by Councilman Arnett . City Manager advised the unusually large amount payable to DMJM covers amounts due to subcontractors , as well as squaring off of some overcharges and undercharges on past Task Orders . Motion carried . COMMUNICATIONS : County Board of Supervisors advising of the Constitution Revision Commission of the California Legislature proposing to revise Article XXVI ( Gas Tax Expenditures ) and enclosing copy of Resolution adopted by their Board petitioning that this Commission not make changes in said Article , and urging Council to take similar action ( copy submitted to Council ) . Councilman Rosselli moved to refer this communication to the Legislative Committee , seconded by Councilman Arnett and carried . ( MINUTE ORDER #69 -180 ) Copy of communication received during meeting from Peninsula Master Builders regarding expiration of Building Permits for Dolphin Subdivision #1 , Redwood Shores ( copies to be submitted to Council ) . City Attorney advised this communication resulted from aftermath of meeting held with himself , City Manager. and Builder , and relates to a proposed revision to the Building Code , and suggested it be referred to the Ordinance Review Committee . Councilman Rosselli moved to refer this communication to the Ordinance Review Committee as suggested , seconded by Councilman Petersen and carried . ( MINUTE ORDER #69 -181 ) Mayor Bury commented on the Labor Relations Conference to be held in Hayward , September 19 and 20 , and that two members of Council had been granted permission to attend . He also commented on the running event that had been held this past weekend in which 200 people had participated , and thought it might be well for Council to consider for next year for a possible contribution of an award .
