Motion carried on roll call vote . <br /> Councilman Henderson moved to introduce Ordinance establishing procedures for <br /> disposition of unclaimed property received by City , seconded by Councilman <br /> Arnett . <br /> Councilman Henderson questioned whether City had ordinance of this type pre - <br /> viously ; and with reference to Section 2 . 56 , what " reasonable charges " would <br /> be expected to be . City Attorney responded there was no ordinance providing <br /> for disposition of such property heretofore . Provision for establishing <br /> charges is included in the event of costs incurred in storing property . <br /> There is no intention to charge rental for use of City facilities , but if it <br /> becomes necessary to store unclaimed property commercially , City should be <br /> able to expect to recover actual costs incurred for such storage elsewhere . <br /> Discussion of ordinances proposed by Ordinance Review Committee relating to <br /> parking restrictions , speed limits on certain streets , and report on results <br /> of two night parking surveys . <br /> Councilman Keckley reported that after his Committee had been requested <br /> by Council for recommendations regarding on - street parking , they requested <br /> a survey be done by Police Department to determine number and types of vehicles <br /> parked on public streets and the availability and usage of off - street parking <br /> space .
