City Manager replied he had no <br /> knowledge of any new criteria being set for adequate safety lighting , but commented <br /> on fact Urban Design Committee had recommended a low intensity lighting , which would <br /> be noted as being of considerably less intensity than that which is installed on <br /> Broadway , as one example , but which didn ' t have the ordinary glare but did have <br /> the illumination required for safety .
