Chairperson <br /> Dale stated that Redevelopment Director Mike Church has indicated the <br /> possibility that the Redevelopment Agency could help fund next year's music <br /> series. <br /> -Public Art <br /> Staff has ordered secure mountings for the hanging of the Ledesma <br /> paintings. <br /> ITEM 4 -EVALUATION OF CULTURAL EVENTS HELD OVER THE PAST <br /> 30 DAYS <br /> The Commissioners attended the following events during the past 30 days: <br /> Ball - Vintage Music Theater performance featuring Joe Marchi; she was a <br /> judge at Old Navy for the 4th of July <br /> Douglas - San Francisco Symphony at Stern Grove, 4th of July Parade <br /> Del Carlo - summer concerts, 4th of July Parade <br /> Britschgi - celebrated Canada's birthday, fireworks in Seattle <br /> Dale - Live at Plaza concerts, hiking and viewing of public art at Grand <br /> Canyon, Bellagio art gallery in Las Vegas <br /> ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> Vice Chairperson Douglas reported on his appointment to the San Mateo <br /> County Arts Council; the need for a Commission representative to attend <br /> Art Share; and he will be meeting with art representatives from our area on <br /> behalf of the County's Art Council. <br /> Items for August meeting: Select Commission liaison for Art Share, Budget <br /> The regular meeting of the Civic Cultural Commission was adjourned at <br /> 8:58pm to be reconvened at 7:00pm on Thursday, August 1, 2002 at the <br /> Community Activities Building, 1400 Roosevelt Avenue, Redwood City, <br /> California. <br />
