ITEM 5-COMMISSIONS &BOARDS WORKSHOP <br /> Superintendent Hartman announced the workshop date has been changed to <br /> May 13 and it will be held in the Library Community Room. <br /> ITEM 6-APPLICATIONS FOR COMMISSION <br /> Superintendent Hartman announced the application filing date was extended <br /> to April 19. <br /> ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> -Commissioner Newell reported on the request of the John Gill School PTA <br /> to have a traffic signal installed at Myrtle and Jefferson. The group went <br /> before the Traffic Advisory Committee and was advised that a light was not <br /> feasible at that location. They are now looking at placing a light at Avenue <br /> del Ora and Jefferson or a light in between blocks. They are hoping to have <br /> the light in place by September 1995. <br /> -Vice Chairperson Anthony announced the Human Race will be held on <br /> May 13 at Coyote Point and he will be accepting donations for RSVP. <br /> The regular meeting of the Senior Affairs Commission was adjourned at <br /> 11:20am to be reconvened at 9:00am on Wednesday, May 10, 1995 at the <br /> Senior Center Annex, 711 Nevada Street, Redwood City, California. <br />
