Superintendent Hartman will draft the proposed workplan and give it to <br /> Chairperson Lloyd and Vice Chairperson Walsh for their review before <br /> sending to the City Council. <br /> ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> -Commissioner Newell announced that construction of the traffic light on <br /> Jefferson has begun and that, hopefully, the light will be operational by the <br /> beginning of the school year. <br /> -Commissioner Moran announced the delegation from Zhuhai, China will be <br /> coming to Redwood City on October 23 for a one week visit. A program of <br /> Zhuhai performers has been scheduled for Saturday, October 28 in the <br /> Veterans Memorial Little Theater. <br /> -Commissioner Walsh said he received a response to his letter addressed to <br /> the Chancellor of UC Medical Center and he will be meeting in September <br /> with a representative from UC. The Health Officer for San Mateo County will <br /> also be attending the meeting. <br /> The regular meeting of the Senior Affairs Commission was adjourned at <br /> 11:10am to be reconvened at 9:00am on Wednesday, September 13, 1995 at the <br /> Senior Center Annex, 711 Nevada Street, Redwood City, California. <br />
