-Supervisor Griffith mentioned that Ann Weiss of TIES has an extensive <br /> video library which is available to the Senior Center. She will check to see <br /> what is available on the subjects the Commission has identified and report <br /> back. <br /> -Library Supervisor Val Hamilton advised the Commission that the Main <br /> Library will have two terminals available next week to access the Internet. <br /> Please check with the Reference Desk for further information. <br /> -Commissioner Newell announced the stop light at Jefferson was in <br /> operation the first day of school and stated he is pleased with the work of the <br /> committee and City officials to resolve this issue. He also passed out a flyer of <br /> senior activities held at the Menlo Park Library on the first Saturday of each <br /> month. <br /> -Supervisor Griffith said she will be attending an all day informational <br /> meeting on September 20 at the Mountain View Senior Center. This meeting <br /> will explain the results and impact of the recent National Conference on <br /> Aging held in Washington, D.C.. She will report back to the Commission at <br /> the October meeting on this subject. <br /> The regular meeting of the Senior Affairs Commission was adjourned at <br /> 11:10am to be reconvened at 9:00am on Wednesday, October 11, 1995 at the <br /> Senior Center Annex, 711 Nevada Street, Redwood City, California. <br />
