ITEM 5, WORK PLAN APPROVAL AND COMMITTEE <br /> ASSIGNMENTS <br /> Commissioner Borgens asked that participation on the Housing and <br /> Human Concerns Committee, Senior Housing Sub-Committee be added <br /> to the work plan and she volunteered to serve on the Committee. <br /> Commissioner Moran to ask Commissioners L. Walsh and J. Harrison to <br /> continue with Economic Development Luncheon Program. <br /> Commissioner Nobles reported that she had arranged for a speaker on <br /> elder abuse for the next meeting. <br /> Chairperson L. Walsh, requested his name be removed from the <br /> Housing Committee. <br /> Commissioner Nobles asked that the Fair Oaks Senior be added to the <br /> work plan. <br /> M/S Commissioner M. Walsh/J. Borgens to adopt 1998-99 Work Plan <br /> as amended. Motion passed unanimously. <br /> ITEM 6, ELDER HOSTEL VIDEOTAPE PRESENTATION, L. WALSH <br /> Chairperson Walsh spoke regarding a Santa Barbara trip with Elder <br /> Hostel and showed a video tape on the program. <br /> ITEM 7, DECISION ON DECEMBER MEETING, CALENDAR A <br /> PRESENTATION REGARDING THE PREVENTION OF ELDER <br /> ABUSE. <br /> M/S Moran/Borgens to have December meeting.
