Walsh/L. Walsh to nominate Commissioner Moran as <br /> Chairperson. <br /> M/S M. Walsh/J. Borgens to close nominations. <br /> Motion unanimously approved. <br /> Commissioner Moran said she hoped that Chairperson Walsh will <br /> continue to work with the hospital issue. <br /> M/S M. Walsh/J. Borgens to nominate Commissioner Harrison as Vice- <br /> Chairperson. <br /> M/S M. Walsh/B. Moran to close nominations. <br /> Motion unanimously approved. <br /> ITEM 4, GAS STATION SURVEY, 3. BORGENS <br /> The Commission had agreed to look into how self serve gas stations <br /> assist seniors who have trouble pumping their own gas. Commissioner <br /> Borgens reported she had visited every station on Woodside Road and <br /> that they all would assist and still charge the self serve price. <br /> Chairperson Walsh also found this to be the case at the stations along <br /> Whipple Avenue. Commissioner Nobles, had checked with the <br /> Roosevelt station which also indicated that they would assist. The <br /> Commission discussed how to advertise this assistance to seniors. <br /> 3 <br />
