Senior Affairs Commission Page 3 <br /> Minutes of Thursday,December 10, 1998 <br /> ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> -Commissioner Borgens attended the December 2 meeting of the Senior <br /> Housing Sub-Committee which consists of Debbi Jones-Thomas, Steve <br /> Sanger, Pete Hughes and herself. Representatives are needed from the <br /> Planning Commission, Redwood Commons, and Casa de Redwood. She <br /> reported the sub-committee will meet every Tuesday in January and would <br /> like to be placed on the City Council's calendar on a regular basis. <br /> -Commissioner Nobles reported Director Maria Bransford is getting married <br /> this Saturday so she was unable to attend the meeting but she plans to be at <br /> the next Commission meeting. <br /> -Superintendent Centeno reminded the Commissioners of the Board and <br /> Commission Dinner to be held Saturday, December 12 at the old Charley <br /> Brown's location. <br /> -Chairperson Walsh thanked the Commissioners for being the chairperson for <br /> the past two years. He expressed his disappointment about the lack of <br /> interest on particular issues by the seniors in the community. <br /> The regular meeting of the Senior Affairs Commission was adjourned at <br /> 11 :10am to be reconvened at 9:30am on Thursday, January 14, 1999 at the <br /> Veterans Memorial Senior Center, 1455 Madison Avenue, Redwood City, <br /> California. <br />
