Senior Affairs Commission Page 4 <br /> Minutes of Thursday,August 10, 2000 <br /> -Commissioner L.Walsh asked about the status of the school bonds that were <br /> passed two or three years ago and also spoke about Proposition 39 which will <br /> be on the ballot. Superintendent Centeno said she was advised that the <br /> Redwood City Elementary School District is not pursuing any local measure at <br /> this time, but she will check on the status of the school bonds. <br /> -Chairperson Moran encouraged support of the windmill restoration project <br /> sponsored by the Park and Recreation Commission; donations are being <br /> accepted. <br /> The regular meeting of the Senior Affairs Commission was adjourned at <br /> 2:13pm to be reconvened at 1:00pm on Thursday, September 14, 2000 at <br /> the Veterans Memorial Senior Center, 1455 Madison Avenue, Redwood City, <br /> California. <br />
