Senior Affairs Commission Page 4 <br /> Minutes of Thursday, November 8,2001 <br /> ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> -Commissioner Moran announced the 'Tis the Season program to be held on <br /> December 1St. There will be a fireworks display and a parade led by <br /> Commissioner Borgens. <br /> -It was announced that Vincent Truscelli was presented the Unsung Hero <br /> Award by the Interservice Coordinating Council. Commissioner Borgens <br /> chaired the luncheon. <br /> -Manager Griffith announced that the Advisory Council's Bingo program, <br /> which supplies funds to the VMSC, recently celebrated its 19th anniversary. <br /> -It was reported that Commissioner Carpe seems to be doing well and will be <br /> coming home from Sequoia Hospital soon. <br /> Chairperson Harrison adjourned the regular meeting of the Senior Affairs <br /> Commission at 3:00 p.m. to be reconvened at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, <br /> December 13, 2001 at the Veterans Memorial Senior Center, 1455 Madison <br /> Avenue, Redwood City, California. <br />
