All planted areas, including turf will require periodic plant <br /> replacement due to disease, pest damage and loss stemming from natural <br /> causes, vandalism and pedestrian and bicycle traffic. <br /> Perimeter areas will include a trail system that will accommodate <br /> pedestrian and bicycle traffic and allow emergency vehicle access. Trail <br /> maintenance will include trash pick up and sweeping as needed. Periodic <br /> trail replacement or repair will also be needed depending on traffic and other <br /> factors that may cause periodic damage. <br /> Daily maintenance will include litter pick-up, emptying of trash <br /> receptacles and removal and disposal of debris. <br /> Consumable supplies will include water, fertilizer, pesticides and to an <br /> herbicides, annual and bi-annual plant replacement according to season, o <br /> shrub and tree replacement as needed, soil additives, occasional pipe and 0 <br /> irrigation system repair or replacement, trash receptacle liners, allocable fl <br /> amortization of landscape maintenance equipment used in Redwood Shores, CD <br /> fuel, sand replacement and parts and supplies incidental to play area repair <br /> and maintenance, picnic table repair or replacement, drinking fountain repair <br /> or replacement, restroom supplies and cleaning materials, electricity. <br /> Area S (as shown on the attached map) <br /> Area 8 comprises approximately 2.2 acres adjacent to the area identified <br /> as The Green in the Lido Neighborhood Specific Plan. Area 8 will entail no <br /> landscaping, but will require periodic trash removal and disposal. <br /> Area 9 (as shown on the attached map) <br /> Area 9 comprises approximately .86 acres. Landscape treatment will <br /> include native plants and grasses to the extent possible. <br /> All planted areas will require irrigation, periodic applications of <br /> fertilizers and soil conditioners, periodic applications of wood chips 2" - 4" in <br /> depth to prevent weed growth and retain soil moisture, periodic pest control <br /> and weed maintenance, and periodic plant replacement due to disease, pest <br /> damage and loss stemming from natural causes, vandalism and pedestrian <br /> and bicycle traffic. <br /> Daily maintenance will include litter pick-up and removal and <br /> disposal of debris. <br /> Consumable supplies will include water, fertilizer, pesticides and <br /> herbicides, native plant replacement as needed, soil additives, occasional pipe <br /> 3 <br />
