If Owner is unable to obtain a Corps permit or to t.� <br /> complete the rip-rap work by October 30 , 1998 , permitting and <br /> construction of the project shall be completed by GID 1 - 64 as a <br /> District project . The duties and obligations set forth in this <br /> paragraph 1 ( c ) shall remain the responsibility of Redwood Shores <br /> Properties , and shall not be transferred under paragraph 13 , <br /> below . <br /> 2 . SECURITY . Owner shall , before the release of said <br /> final map by City for recordation , furnish to City and file with <br /> the City Clerk a bond or deposit securing the faithful <br /> performance of all work and the construction of the Improvements <br /> mentioned in this agreement within the time herein specified . <br /> The amount of said security shall be Five Million Six Hundred <br /> Thirty-four Thousand and No / 100 Dollars ( $ 5 , 634 , 000 . 00 ) . Owner <br /> shall likewise , before the release of said map , furnish and file <br /> with the City Clerk a bond or deposit securing the payment of all <br /> bills for labor and materials incurred in the construction of the <br /> 5 <br />
