<br />OAK #4847-6002-2070 v1 <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF CITY OF REDWOOD CITY APPOINTING VERONICA RAMIREZ <br />TO THE POSITION OF CITY ATTORNEY OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND <br />AUTHORIZING MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City (“City”) has a need to hire a City Attorney; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Veronica Ramirez (“City Attorney”) possesses the skills and expertise <br />necessary to perform these services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City desires to enter into an Employment Agreement to set forth the <br />terms and conditions of City Attorney’s duties as City Attorney. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Redwood <br />City, as appointing authority, hereby appoints Veronica Ramirez as City Attorney and <br />approves the Employment Agreement Between City of Redwood City and Veronica <br />Ramirez in substantially the same form attached hereto as Exhibit “A” and authorizes <br />and directs the Mayor to execute same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Redwood <br />City at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the _____ day of______________, <br />2016, by the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSTAIN: <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />_____________________________________ <br />John D.
