56. Driveways — Abandoned driveways shall be removed and replaced with sidewalk, curb <br /> & gutter in accordance with City's Engineering Standards pursuant to City Ordinance <br /> Chapter 29, Article Ill. New driveway approaches in any public right-of-way shall be <br /> constructed in accordance with City of Redwood City Engineering Standards, Volumes <br /> 1, 2 and 3 and in a manner approved by the City Engineer pursuant to City Ordinance <br /> Chapter 29, Article Ill. A standard driveway approach shall be used to enter site from <br /> Main Street. [SDR][ENGINEERING] <br /> 57. Street Design and Driveways-Changes to streets or driveways, including replacement <br /> of abandoned driveways, shall conform to Engineering Standards and require approval <br /> of the City Engineer. All new curb ramps shall meet the current Caltrans standards for <br /> ADA access. [SDR][ENGINEERING] <br /> 58. Sidewalks—All sidewalks adjacent to the project site shall meet City standards. Special <br /> paving or scoring patterns shall be coordinated with the City's Landscape Architect. <br /> [SDR][ENGINEERING] <br /> 59. Repair or Replace Street Infrastructure - Restore streets surrounding the project site <br /> to the satisfaction of the City Engineer at project completion. When this requires <br /> additional pavement restoration, the Engineer shall approve the preferred layout of <br /> pavement markings. [SDR][ENGINEERING] <br /> a. Pavement reconstruction of the full width of Main Street from Pine Street to the <br /> end of the new waterline replacement approximately 85' south of Spruce <br /> Street. <br /> b. Sidewalk replacement along Main Street for the entire project frontage and <br /> continuing to the intersection of Main Street and Spruce Street. All sidewalk <br /> replacement will need to include street trees and pedestrian lighting at a <br /> spacing as required by the City's Landscape Architect. <br /> c. Replace the existing pedestrian crossing in a location to provide a safe crossing <br /> for pedestrians along the project frontage including ADA ramps, signage and <br /> striping. <br /> Fire and Safety <br /> 60. Relevant Safety Codes —The project shall comply with all applicable Building, Fire and <br /> Safety codes. [SDR][BUILDING] <br /> 61. Emergency Radio Coverage — All building and parking garages shall have approved <br /> radio coverage for emergency responders within the building. Upon completion of the <br /> building construction, a radio coverage test shall be conducted per the applicable codes <br /> and standards and if the test fails an Emergency Responders Radio Coverage System <br /> shall be installed.
