( 2 ) That on June 15 , 1959 , this Council did adopt its Res - olution No . 2750 , entitled "Resolution of the Council of the City of Redwood City Giving Notice of , and Declaring its Intention to , Initiate on its own Notion Proceedings to Annex to said City Cer- tain Uninhabited Territory ; Describing said Territory and Designa- ting it by the Name ' Leslie Annexation No . 1-A 1 ; Giving its Reasons for Desiring said Annexation ; Making Certain 11'indings Respecting said Proceedings ; and Giving Notice of the Time and Place said Council will Hear Protests to said Annexation, " wherein it gave notice of said proposed annexation, described said ter- ritory and designated it by the above mentioned name , made certain findings respecting said proposal and gave notice of the time and place said Council would hear protests thereto ; and ( 3 ) That less than twelve registered voters resided within said territory at the time the above mentioned resolution was adopted by this Council ; and ( 4 ) That the City Clerk has caused a copy of said Res - olution No . 2750 to be published in the manner and within the time required by law, and has also caused written notice of such proposed annexation to be mailed to all persons or bodies to whom such notice is required by law to be given ; all in the manner and time required by law ; and ( 5 ) That this Council did in said Resolution No , 2750 set and designate August 10 , 1959 , at the hour of 8 : 00 P . Nt . , in the Board of Supervisor ' s Chambers , Hall of Justice and Records , Redwood City, San Mateo County, California , as the day , hour , and place when and N-lhere said Council would hear protests against said annexation ; and ( 6 ) That none of the territory within the boundaries of the territory proposed to be annexed is owned by a junior college dis - trict ; and
