O R I G I N A L l = u ORDINANCE N0 . 946 AEC : yc : 7/29/59 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY APPROVING THE ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY OF CER- TAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESIGNATED "LESLIE AN- NEXATION NO . 2-A , " AND tREIN DESCRIBED , AND HEREIN ANNEXING SAID TERRITORY TO SAID CITY OF RED 1100D CITY THE COUNCIL OF RED1 00 c) CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS WHEREAS , on the 15th day of June , 1959 , the Council of the City of Redwood City adopted Resolution No . 2751 giving notice of , and declaring its intention to , initiate upon its own motion proceedings to annex to the City of Redwood City all of the ter- ritory designated as "Leslie Annexation No . 2-A ' ? ; and WHtiREAS , this Council has received evidence showing, and has found , and again finds , that a written description of the proposal to annex said territory to the City of Redwood City was filed with the Secretary of the Boundary Commission of San Nateo County , California , on Parch 26 , 1959 , and that said Boundary Com- mission has prepared , or caused to be prepared, a report on said annexation proposal as required by law, and that said Ioundary Commission has approved the boundaries of said proposed annexa- tion ; and has received evidence showing , and has found, and again finds , that the aforementioned action of the C' ouncil initiating the annexation of the herein described territory , upon its own motion, was not commenced until after said written description of the proposal for said annexation was filed with the becretary of the San T iateo County Boundary Commission , and until after said Commission made , or caused to be made , its report and approved said boundaries ; and WHEREAS , this (; ouncil has further received evidence showing , and has found , and again finds : ( 1 ) That said territory is situate immediately adjacent to and touches and is contiguous to the boundaries of the City of Redwood City ; and
