SECTION 17 . Any person, firm, corporation or legal entity <br /> violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed <br /> guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be <br /> punishable by a fine of not more than Five Hundred Dollars ( 000 ) <br /> or imprisonment in the County jail for a period of not more than <br /> six ( 6 ) months , or by both such fine and imprisonment . Each and <br /> every twenty-four hour period that any violation of this ordinance <br /> continues is hereby declared to be a separate offense and is <br /> punishable as hereinabove set forth . <br /> SECTION 18 . Ordinance No . 202, entitled "Public and Private <br /> Sewers and Drains , " adopted January 19 , 1920 , and Ordinance No . 215 , <br /> entitled ttAn. Ordinance to Protect the Public Health and Safety <br /> ( Prohibiting privies , privy vaults , cesspools or water closets <br /> unless connected to public sewer ) , " adopted May 5 , 1921 , are <br /> hereby repealed . <br /> SECTION 19 . This ordinance shall be effective thirty ( 30 ) <br /> days after its adoption . <br />
