which such hearing was continued, and has at the hearing in open <br /> public session duly asked for protests , if any , to the proposed <br /> annexation and has given all persons full opportunity to protest <br /> said annexation and has received evidence relevant to such annexa- <br /> tion ; and <br /> WHEREAS , this Council at the time of said hearing has found <br /> and determined that protest to the proposed annexation of the <br /> hereinafter described territory to the City of Redwood City has <br /> not been made by owners of one-half of the value of said territory <br /> as shown by the last equalized assessment roll of the County of <br /> San Mateo , California, nor by public and private owners equal to <br /> one -half of the value of said designated territory as determined <br /> by said Council ; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE , the Council of the City of Redwood City does <br /> hereby approve the annexation to the City of Redwood City of all <br /> the territory designated as "Coonan Annexation" and hereinafter <br /> described, and does also hereby ordain that said territory be <br /> and is hereby annexed to the City of Redwood City . The above <br /> mentioned territory which is designated as "Coonan Annexation" <br /> is all that territory situate in the County of San Mateo , State <br /> of California, described as follows : <br /> All that real property in the TOWN OF WOODSIDE , County of <br /> San Mateo, State of California, described as follows : <br /> BEGINNING at an angle point in the common corporate <br /> limit line of the TOWN OF WOODSIDE and the City of Redwood <br /> City , said angle point being the intersection of the south- <br /> westerly corporate limit line of Redwood City as estab- <br /> lished by Ordinance No . 723 , adopted March 16 , 1953 , with <br /> the southeasterly corporate limit line of Redwood City <br /> as established by Ordinance No . 520 adopted April 2 , 1945 , <br /> said angle point also being the most northerly corner <br /> described in Parcel .2in deed conveyed by William P .
